RELEVANT FEW Part Ways With Singer, Announce Replacement

October 19, 2005

RELEVANT FEW, the Swedish grindcore band featuring bassist Robert Hakemo (ENGEL, ex-GARDENIAN, KEROZENE, GOOSEFLESH),have undergone a major lineup change during the recent months. Vocalist Henke Svensson has left the group due to "a lack of interest and dedication" and has been replaced by the group's previous frontman, Johan Carlzon (ABANDON).

"As you probably remember, [Johan] left the band just after we released the first album, 'Who Are Those of Leadership?' (2002)," the group write in a statement.

"This feels like a fresh new start for us and we're very thrilled to have Carlzon back in action again and he is as excited as we are. We booked a couple of gigs already and there will be a couple of more coming up very soon. A new website is under construction and it will be launched in a near future. We're also in the middle of writing new material for our third release under the working title 'The Democracy is Temporarily Postpone Due to Important Political Decisions'. More info soon."

RELEVANT FEW's latest CD, "The Art of Today", was released in Europe through Century Media/New Hawen.

Upcoming RELEVANT FEW shows:

Oct. 21 Gothenburg, SWE @ Cronan (w/ MINDFALL)
Dec. 16 – Gothenburg, SWE @ Spatt (w/ ATOMVINTER)
